Modern Solutions for a Classical Science

Advanced Anatomy
Training Labs

We design and build cutting-edge dissection laboratories for anatomical training in medical schools.

Where Anatomy
Comes to Life

The Gold Standard of
Anatomical Training

At Vesalius, we don't just build labs, we help shape the future of medical education. Our solutions transform how medical students learn, practice, and experience anatomy in an environment that is safe, advanced, and thoughtfully designed.

Why Vesalius?

The Future of Dissection

Beyond education - a better way to learn anatomy.

Dissecting real cadavers is a vital part of becoming a great physician.
At Vesalius, we believe technological innovation and safety should go hand in hand.
Our mission is to make high-quality anatomical training accessible, safe, and future-ready.

A Smarter Standard
for Anatomy Labs

Two powerful systems. One uncompromising standard.

At Vesalius, we build advanced dissection laboratories for medical schools, all based on a single, uncompromising principle: effective Formaldehyde vapor treatment. This foundation drives every aspect of our design - ensuring safer, more ergonomic environments for anatomical training with human cadavers, while delivering exceptional educational value.

We provide two distinct solutions for different spatial, budgetary, and operational requirements.

01.
The Andreas Lab

Ideal for institutions seeking plug-and-play functionality, mobility, and independence from external infrastructure - The Andreas is a custom-designed modular laboratory composed of dissection beds with built-in, self-contained formaldehyde filtration systems.

02.
The Fabrica Lab

A flagship dissection facility built for institutions with large-scale anatomical programs, prioritizing centralized control, safety, and efficiency. The Fabrica Lab features a custom-designed infrastructure with a centralized and external formaldehyde vapor treatment and ventilation system that connects seamlessly to multiple workstations.

The Andreas Lab

Agile. Self-contained. Ready to deploy.

The Andreas Lab is a modular dissection lab solution built around independently ventilated workstations. Each station features advanced built-in suction and activated carbon filtration that captures formaldehyde fumes directly at the source - no external infrastructure required.

Whether configured as a small plug-and-play lab with just a few stations in any existing room, or as a larger multi-station setup within a custom-designed space, Andreas delivers uncompromising safety, flexibility, and performance - without the need for external filtration infrastructure.

Ideal for institutions seeking a cost-effective, mobile, and scalable approach to high-quality anatomical training.

Key features include:

Full mobility

Standalone functionality

No dependency on external utilities

Enhanced safety for students and staff

Minimal maintenance

Low operational costs

The Fabrica Lab

Centralized. Custom. Built for scale.

The Fabrica Lab is a full-scale, custom-designed dissection laboratory with a centralized and external formaldehyde vapor extraction and treatment system. This configuration connects multiple ergonomic workstations to a shared ventilation and filtration backbone - ensuring consistent air quality, temperature control, and operational efficiency across the entire space.

Engineered for institutions with high-capacity needs and purpose-built facilities, Fabrica offers seamless integration with architectural systems and provides the highest level of environmental control, workflow optimization, and teaching impact.

Ideal for medical schools building a flagship anatomy program with centralized infrastructure and long-term scalability.

Key features include:

Centralized system

Built for scale

Custom design facility

Enhanced safety for students and staff

Minimal maintenance

Low operational costs

From Good
to Exceptional

Because safety should never be optional.

Formaldehyde Management:

Medical students who are exposed to formaldehyde for extended periods during dissection are at risk of serious health effects, including fatigue, dizziness, eye irritation, nasal discomfort, and headaches. These symptoms are not isolated incidents, they reflect a widespread and well-recognized response to prolonged formaldehyde exposure in poorly ventilated environments.

A recent academic study reinforces this concern, reporting that nearly 45% of medical students working in dissection labs experienced fatigue or dizziness. Many others reported additional symptoms tied directly to inadequate ventilation and the presence of formaldehyde fumes.

While formaldehyde remains essential for preserving cadavers, it becomes harmful when unmanaged. Our built-in ventilation system effectively captures and filters hazardous fumes using activated carbon, all without requiring external ductwork or compromising room temperature. This ensures a safer, more controlled environment for students and staff alike.
